NetCommander detects threatening conditions such as fire, flood or over temperature before equipment in server rooms is damaged or destroyed. NetCommander is a highly versatile web accessible network device for monitoring and control of equipment. If you need a system to be monitored and controlled then we provide the intelligence to your system. Using our range of sensors or any device that fits NetCommander’s requirements you can react to any situation and interfacing to existing equipment allows you add a layer of intelligent control to your system. Interfacing is made possible through electrical outputs, X10 control and serial commands, as well as providing direct telnet connections to serially connected equipment. Our interfaces are highly flexible to match the needs of any system and may be customised to provide intuitive control at your finger-tips.
NTP server updates and an internal clock allows time and date to be taken into consideration, allowing periodic events, delayed reactions and events that fit the time of day.
Keep track of situations using counters to record how many times an event occurs; for example: the number of people entering and leaving the building. Then you can use the values to trigger events; for example: if somebody hasn't left the building by 8pm then alert security.
Raising the alert can be made appropriate to the situation, from SNMP traps for network issues to security lights and sirens for intruder security. The right person is contacted immediately via SMS text alerts or email. False alarms can be eliminated by using our event system to react only when the situation demands it.
Reaction to any situation means electrical systems can be controlled directly and even motors and control systems can be powered up or down through our pow-r-switch range.
Should our extensive range of sensors and interfaces fail to match your requirements then our team of developers can be called upon to expand the system to fit your needs. An Ionisation smoke detector designed for use with a 12 volt alarm system. This detector uses a dual ionisation chamber to detect smoke at the very early stages of combustion. The appliance module is a receiver unit that works as a remote controlled switch or relay. The connected load can be used at any wall sockets in the house. The appliance module can switch incandescent lamps up to 500W, appliances with electric motors up to 250W, halogen floor lamps with foot dimmer up to 500W or resistive loads of up to 16A (13A fuse fitted). As the X-10 switch is simply inserted into wall sockets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out. Just set the wheels on the front to the desired device address (eg. G7) and note this address down.
The load connected to the switch module can still be controlled locally by its own switch.

The lamp module is a 300W receiver unit that works as a remote dimmer. The connected lamp can still be switched on and off locally. The dimmer function, however, is an X-10 remote control. The dimmer module can be used at any wall sockets in the house with incandescent lamps between 60W and 300W. As the X-10 dimmer is simply inserted into wall sockets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out. Just set the wheels on the front to the desired device address.
The lamp connected to the dimmer module can still be controlled locally by its own switch.

The Virtual Instrument Desktop (VID) software extends NetCommander by combining a customisable virtual instrument display with the "behind the scenes" event monitoring, logging, alerting and control systems.
The virtual instrument panel can comprise a variety of meters, dials, digital displays, graphs, thermometers, LED indicators, control knobs, sliders, buttons and switches. These can be "connected" to a Netcommander monitoring point anywhere on the network allowing data sources, temperature, pressure, voltages etc. to be visualised in seconds.
The VID software will control up to fifty Netcommanders.

Platform Independent Web based Interface
Users can access real time live data and system status securely from anywhere in the world. NetCommander's Internal web server provides both local and secure remote access to the controller. User level access can be full-access or read-only, allowing supervision and administration of critical assets. Alerts can be sent immediately via e-mail and mobile SMS, giving immediate notification of alarm conditions.
At the heart of the flexible software is an advanced event scheduler. It allows the user to manage the causes, the effects, the count of, and the states of up to 32 events and alarms from the various internal functions and external I/O devices. Logic operations can be performed on all events, further enhancing the scheduler flexibility.
For the more important alarms, the user can choose to be alerted using audio, email or SMS. All alarms alerts and events can be logged via the event logger, which time stamps and details each event log as they occur. A 365 day / time scheduler allows the user to trigger events, hourly, daily and weekly.
